At Kemps we would always prefer to welcome you through our doors but we understand that is not always possible. If you want to order online and would rather support independent bookshops than huge online retailers (often beginning with A) then we have a solution for you.

In our bookshop, we stock over 5,000 titles at one time, so listing everything on this site and keeping it current would be tricky. So, we are are partnering with UK Bookshop.org who support independent bookshops by sharing commissions on their online book sales with all independent bookshops.

They stock thousands of books, have a great searchable interface and lots of book lists suggested by other indie bookshops which should make browsing a joy. They often have discounts and if you shop there, please use our shopfront and you will be supporting us even more.

But, always remember - we get the most joy - seeing you in the bricks and mortar shop, ordering books, curating our collections for you, ordering titles and talking books.
