Kemps Cooks - COMING SOON

We are thrilled to announce that later this summer, we will be returning to our roots at 13 Market Place, Malton, where we first began our journey in 2017.

If you’ve been by lately, you may have noticed the ongoing building works. These will continue and scale up next month as we prepare to combine Units 11 and 13 into a beautiful new space.

Introducing Kemps Cooks our upcoming specialist bookshop dedicated to food writing and cookery books, beautifully showcased alongside stunning kitchenware and ceramics. This new area aims to be a culinary haven for food lovers and aspiring chefs alike!

Soon, our carefully curated selection of food-related titles will also be available online, making it easy for you to find and order from one of the best collections around. Kemps Cooks will be the heart of food discussions, tips, and inspiration.

We’ll also feature a special section designed just for children. At Kemps, we believe that learning about food and cooking should start early. Our goal is to make it joyful, creative, and confidence-building! We’re passionate about helping children develop a positive relationship with food—understanding where it comes from, feeling proud of what they create, and being inspired by stories that link food, family, and culture.  While we’re first and foremost a bookshop championing reading for all ages, this part of the shop holds a special place in our hearts.
